Burr Ridge Restaurant Worker Injured, Goes To Hospital: Police
Medics and police responded to the accident last week.
BURR RIDGE, IL – An employee at Olive Tree Mediterranean Cuisine was severely injured on the job last week, according to a Burr Ridge police report.
Police said they were called about an employee who got his hand stuck in the commercial meat grinder about 11 a.m. Friday at the restaurant in the Village Center.
Medics were already treating the man when officers arrived.

The 30-year-old man was taken to Loyola Hospital in Maywood, police said.
An officer called the Cook County Health Department because of the resulting biohazard near the restaurant's food, police said.
