Burr Ridge Seniors Celebrate with Irish Dancers
Harvester Place residents enjoyed some Irish jigs with the Mayer School of Irish Dance.
For 67-year-old Graham Murphy, Irish tunes bring back a host of memories. The Harvester Place Anthem Memory care resident reminisced and shared his love of all things green when the Mayer School of Irish Dance performed at the community located at 150 S. Frontage Rd., Burr Ridge.
The local performers, ranging in age from 6-18, danced in traditional costumes.
“This was a wonderful chance for Graham to share his Irish family culture with his friends at the community,” said Danyanique Hughes, life engagement director for Harvester Place. “Our residents enjoy celebrating every holiday, and a visit from such talented youngsters makes St. Patrick’s Day even more fun.
