Burr Ridge Virus Caseload Barely Budges
Village Hall opens with precautions. Mayor notes better statewide numbers.
BURR RIDGE, IL — Burr Ridge Mayor Gary Grasso said Friday the village has seen only a handful of new coronavirus cases in the two weeks since the state entered Phase 3 of its reopening plan. He noted statewide numbers showing a better situation.
"On every level, we have not only flattened the curve, we have considerably bent it downwards," Grasso said in his daily bulletin on the coronavirus. "Daily death counts continue to trend downwards, but this stat must continue to decrease."
