Cop Bitten By Dog While Responding To Suspicious Person Call

BURR RIDGE, IL - A dog bit a female Burr Ridge police officer while the officer was responding to a residence on 83rd Street on Wednesday. The officer, who was at the location to investigate a suspicious person call, classified the incident as an occupational accident.

She said she was walking up the driveway of the home when a 4-year-old goldendoodle dog bit her on the forearm. Paramedics then arrived and cleaned up the dog bite.

No one was charged in the reported incident.
