D86 Community Reacts to Decision to Keep Schools Open Feb. 19

In a flurry of weather report screenshots and Internet memes, the District 86 community, many of them students, took to Twitter to express their frustration at the decision not to close school Feb. 19.

You can get just a small taste of the action through the collection below, which include tweets such as “drake should be in charge of @HinsdaleD86 because he knows how to treat me right.”

In a Feb. 18 email to the D86 community, superintendent Bruce Law wrote “In the end, the decision, whether it is a good one or bad, rests with me.”
