Dementia Patients Mocked In Videos At Harvester Place: Report
Police in Burr Ridge have called video footage in their investigation into the memory care facility "disturbing."

BURR RIDGE, IL — A memory and dementia care facility in Burr Ridge is under investigation by police after a pair of Snapchat videos surfaced apparently showing two employees mocking and humiliating residents, including a clip that showed one of the residents partially naked. Burr Ridge police confirmed Monday that they have been in contact with administrators at Harvester Place after receiving footage from two videos posted to the social media site.
The videos, received by police on Aug. 13, included footage of patients at the facility, according to a Burr Ridge Police Department statement.
"While we've seen no physical contact with any patient, the nature of what's on the videos is disturbing in terms of the treatment of any patient in any situation," Burr Ridge Deputy Police Chief Marc Loftus said.
