Duck Waddle May Be Clue: Burr Ridge Cops

A Burr Ridge woman sees footprints that may resemble her estranged husband's, police say.

BURR RIDGE, IL — A resident on County Line Road reported to Burr Ridge police last weekend that she found footprints leading from the street to the front and back of her house. She believed the prints belonged to her estranged husband, according to Burr Ridge police. Her clue? The prints appeared to resemble her husband's distinct duck waddle stride, police said.

The woman told police her exterior cameras were not working because they were being repaired. She said she wanted police to be aware of the situation because she and her husband had a court appearance set for next month. She said she was concerned he may return, according to police.
