DUI, Solicitor Without A Permit: Burr Ridge Blotter
Man arrested on DUI charge after car found in ditch.

BURR RIDGE, IL — Burr Ridge police on Monday released their latest blotter, which includes an arrest for DUI, a violation of an order of protection and a warning to a solicitor without a permit.
- Damage to a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu was reported about 12:30 p.m. Dec. 3 at Lifetime Fitness, 601 Burr Ridge Parkway. The car owner believed the damage happened between 6:50 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. Dec. 2 at Lifetime Fitness, 601 Burr Ridge Parkway. More information will be obtained when Lifetime Fitness' camera system is able to be accessed.
- Joe A. Macedo, 39, was arrested Dec. 3 on a violation of an order of protection in the 100 block of Harvester Drive.
- A solicitor was knocking on doors on Carriage Way Drive about 5:30 p.m. Dec. 3 without a permit. Police warned the solicitor about the violation.
- A police officer stopped a man on a bicycle about 8:30 p.m. at Grant Street and South Frontage Road for riding without a light or reflector. He said he was coming home from a friend's house, but did not know the friend's last name. The bicyclist has a history of burglary and theft. He allowed police to search him and his backpack. No contraband was found.
- Miguel A. Rodriguez, 25, was arrested Dec. 4 at County Line Road and Interstate 55 on a charge of having no valid driver's license. He was stopped for disobeying a traffic control device.
- Police received a call about 8 p.m. Dec. 4 that a woman was being robbed. Police determined the the cellphone call was made near Tomlin Drive. When officers spoke to residents in that area, no one was in need of police assistance. While investigating, Burr Ridge police found out there was a customer dispute at the 7-11 at the 1294 Hinsdale Oasis, which is just east of Tomlin. State police were investigating that incident.
- David N. Lafave, 39, was arrested Dec. 4 at South Frontage Road and South Madison Street on a charge of DUI. An officer was called about a 2008 Hyundai in a ditch. Lafave was released on bond.
Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
