BURR RIDGE, IL — Burr Ridge police handled calls about a fawn breaking into a house, a fox in a front yard and swans going missing:
- A fawn broke into a house in the 11700 block of Briarwood Lane about 7 p.m. May 31. The resident had it trapped in the laundry room and was encouraged to call a private trapper or animal control.

- A company that leases out swans out to properties reported June 1 that about seven of its swans have gone missing in the area. The company informed police in case anyone calls about wandering swans. Later that day, police were informed by a daytime guard at 9105 Fallingwater Drive that nine swans and their babies had fled the area.
