Five Seasons Family Sports Club in Burr Ridge Hosts Trivia Night on March 5th

Five Seasons Family Sports Club in Burr Ridge is hosting a Trivia Night on Thursday, March 5th that will span a variety of topics, including movies, music, history, geography, sports and current events.

The two-hour event at the club, 6901 S. Madison, begins at 7 p.m. and is open to the public. There is no cost for participating.

Teams of up to 10 people will match wits against one another over the course of 16 questions followed by a bonus question. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, and the club is offering drink and appetizer specials to spice up the competition.

Chicago Trivia Guys, which has organized similar events throughout the city and suburbs for the past four years, will preside over the proceedings. Its owner, Dan Burgess, says the events have proven to be a great outlet for people looking to enjoy a family-friendly and relaxed competition over dinner and drinks, with the chance to win a prize.

No pre-registration is required – people need to simply show up and will be signed up for the game.

During the contest, one question is asked at a time, with about three minutes for teams to submit an answer. The questions increase in difficulty throughout the game, and concludes with a bonus question, similar to the television show Jeopardy!, in which teams wager some or all of their points on a bonus category.
