Football: Hinsdale South Gives Up Late TD, Falls to Downers South
A hard luck loss leaves Hinsdale South on the playoff bubble with one week remaining in the regular season.

Downers South quarterback Mike Zebold hit Javon Turner for the go-ahead touchdown with under two minutes remaining in the Mustangs a 36-33 win over Hinsdale South Friday night in Darien, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Zebold threw for 150 yards, the Sun-Times reports, to go along with 31 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Downers South improved to 3-5 with a 3-2 West Suburban Gold record.
"The Hornets (5-3, 3-2) took a 33-28 lead with just over four minutes left when [quarterback DJ] Deolitsis capped a seven-play drive with an 18-yard TD scamper. He kept the drive alive earlier with a 49-yard carry from the Hinsdale South 4-yard line," the Sun-Times recap reads.

Deolitsis finished with 180 yards rushing; Arian Toney had 132 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Hinsdale South will look to cement its playoff spot in the final week of the regular season against Willowbrook Friday night.
