Generation Gap In Mask Wearing: Burr Ridge Mayor
Village sees a 12 increase in its coronavirus caseload, stats show.
BURR RIDGE, IL — Burr Ridge Mayor Gary Grasso said in a statement last week that he sees age differences in who is wearing face masks.
"I have noticed older persons routinely wearing masks, even when social distancing, but too often see younger, 'invincible' people not wearing them," the mayor said in one of his regular statements on the coronavirus. "Mask For US — Mask For YOU!"
Village Hall, he said, has free masks available for any resident. If you need masks, call the village at 630-654-8181.
