Gottlieb to Present Free Public Lecture on Prostate Cancer
On Thursday, November 9, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital will host a public lecture on prostate cancer, presented by Laurie Bachrach, MD.

MELROSE PARK, IL – On Thursday, November 9, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital will host a public lecture on prostate cancer, presented by Laurie Bachrach, MD.
Dr. Bachrach is a urologic surgeon at Gottlieb, with expertise in minimally invasive and robotic surgeries.
According to the American Cancer Society, prostate cancer is the second-most common cancer in men. One in seven men will be diagnosed during his lifetime.

Dr. Bachrach will discuss what the prostate is, provide information about prostate cancer and discuss screening and diagnostic tests available, as well as treatment options for prostate cancer.
"There is a lot of misinformation about prostate cancer," Dr. Bachrach said. "It's important to make sure people have the correct information to make the right decision for their situation."

The lecture will be held at noon in Gottlieb's Professional Office Building, 675 W. North Ave., Melrose Park, rooms E, F, G on the lower level.
A boxed lunch will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
This is the sixth installment of Gottlieb’s Hai Solomon Community Lecture Series. Dr. Solomon was a Gottlieb physician for 55 years.
