Green Splatter On Burr Ridge Road: Village
A crew was hired to clean up the mess, but the splatter is expected to appear for some time.

BURR RIDGE, IL – Green splatter was found Friday morning on County Line Road in Burr Ridge, the village said.
It was the result of green industrial pigment that leaked from a truck, according to a village statement.
In response, a hazardous materials team from the Tri-State Fire District examined the leaking truck and determined the spilled contents were not a concern, the village said.

The trucking company hired cleanup crews to remove the pigment from the road, according to the statement. However, the green splatter is expected to remain evident for some time, the village said.
Because the pigment has dried and hardened, it is not known to be tracking onto tires, according to the village.
