Heated Argument At Restaurant Draws Cops: Burr Ridge Police

A customer is upset after employee bumps into him, but others say man is having a bad day, police say.

BURR RIDGE, IL — A heated argument at a Burr Ridge restaurant last week resulted in police being called, but the dispute was over something relatively minor, according to a police report. A customer told officers he got into the argument with someone else about an employee bumping into him while he sat at a table, police said.

Witnesses who were dining with the customer told an officer the man was having a bad day and overreacted. The customer was asked to leave the property, which he did, police said.
