Reflecting on the program Coach Wiggins remarked, “Having completed the first 21 years, I’m excited for the next 21! Next year will bring yet another opportunity for us as coaches to instill the values that are important to developing well-rounded student athletes. The importance of remembering class, sportsmanship, character, always doing things the right way, our goals remain directly related to preparing the boys once their playing days are done, knowing that they gained the benefits of participating in athletics. We believe that if we can do that well, the X’s and O’s will always fall in place. We saw that happen this fall.”
When asked about any highlights of the season, Coach Wiggins replied without hesitation.

“The biggest moment I have been a part of in all my years of coaching came at the 72:08 mark of the IHSA State Championship game when Evan Floersch took a throw in and we watched will McGowen redirect a ball off of Bryan Loebig’s header,” said Wiggins. “That was THE individual highlight.”
