Hinsdale Township High School District 86 announced that Hinsdale Central High School students Alyssa Adams and Mary Jane Huber were named as scholarship recipients of the David C. Weber Foundation.
The David C. Weber Foundation was founded in the memory of David Weber who passed away in August 2001 at the age of 33. He left behind his wife and three children, his parents, six adult brothers and their families, and many close friends. In 2003, David’s friends and family decided to establish a foundation in his name that would benefit others. The focus of the foundation is assisting students in studying abroad because that was an important part of David’s life.
