Hinsdale Historical Society Hosts 'Lunch with the Lincolns' Children's Program
'Lunch with the Lincolns' will take place Feb. 28, from noon to 2 p.m. at Immanuel Hall.

Children in kindergarten through third grade are invited to dine with Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln, presented by the Hinsdale Historical Society.
“Lunch with the Lincolns” will take place Feb. 28 from noon to 2 p.m. at Immanuel Hall (302 South Grant Street, Hinsdale). The program is $12 for society member children and $15 for non-member children.
Lunch will be pizza, juice and cookie dessert, as President Abraham Lincoln chats about log cabin life, how he got his beard and why his hat is so tall, according to the Hinsdale Historical Society.

Children can take photos with the Lincolns and make crafts to take home.
“Max and Donna Daniels of West Suburban Wheaton, Illinois have been portraying Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln since 1988,” according to the Hinsdale Historical Society. “They are popular attractions at Civil War reenactments throughout the Midwest and make over 200 appearances each year at metropolitan Chicago area schools.”
