Hinsdale Police Arrest Burr Ridge Man For DUI, Drug Possession

On May 4 at 12:19 p.m. Hinsdale Police stopped Patrick M. Mahoney, 53, of 15W122 Frontage Rd. in Burr Ridge, near 55th Street and Holmes Avenue for speeding. Mahoney submitted a field sobriety test indicating that his blood-alcohol level was more than .08. Officers also found a brass pipe and steel wool in Mahoney’s possession, as well as a white powder that later tested positive for cocaine.

Mahoney was charged with aggravated DUI, disobeying a traffic control devise, possession of a controlled substance, driving while license suspended, speeding, improper lane usage and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

Mahoney was transported to DuPage County Jail.
