Hinsdale South Improv Troupe to Present ComedySportz

Hinsdale Township High School District 86 announced that the Hinsdale South High School improv troupe Unscripted will present ComedySportz at 5:30 and 8 p.m., on Thursday, May 21 and Friday, May 22. All performances will be held in the Hinsdale South auditorium. Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door.

ComedySportz is a long-running, short-form improv comedy show in Chicago. The interactive show allows audience members to drive the show with their input and vote for the red team or blue team with their laughter. A referee keeps track of the score on the “Applause-o-meter” and the team with the most laughs wins at the end of the show.

The improv cast includes: Empress Christian, Jack Cunningham, Andrew Goldbranson, Grace Govostis, Courtney Irwin, Joe Kluge, Eric Kopicki, Jimmy Ladd, Miranda Lowery, Amelia Manley, Alex Miret, Malina Novelle, Kayla O’Donnell, Abby Overmann, David Petrak, Bobby Smid, Emma Webster and Kellianne Yhip. Diana Juarez, Lizzie O’Neill and Liz Tinnin are the stage managers. Kenny Impastato is the light operator and Carlos Lopez is the sound operator. Hinsdale South English Teacher Danny Yuska is the Theater Director and Keith Whipple is an instructor at ComedySportz.
