'Illegal Immigrants' In Burr Ridge? Nope
They were allowed into the United States, a policy that the Texas governor and many others oppose.

BURR RIDGE, IL – Many online commenters have called the migrants in Burr Ridge "illegal immigrants."

Biden is allowing migrants into the United States while their cases are heard. By contrast, former President Donald Trump worked with Mexican authorities to hold the migrants, who usually come from Central and South Americas, in Mexico while their cases were pending.
When online commenters call the immigrants "illegal," they are suggesting that Abbott is busing people into the interior of the United States who have not been permitted in. Abbott's point is that Biden should not be allowing the migrants inside the country.
Abbott has said it is unfair that Texas' border communities must bear the brunt of what he considers the failure of Biden's immigration policies. That is the reason he said he is busing the migrants elsewhere.
Media are referring to the people coming into Burr Ridge as "migrants," not "illegal immigrants." That includes Fox News, which is seen as conservative.
But the DuPage Policy Journal, a conservative online outlet with unclear ownership and anonymous writers, has gone a different way.
In its story Friday about the migrants, the publication refers to them 14 times as "illegal immigrants." It does not explain how they broke the law.
