Indian Prairie Library Hosts Seed Swap
The Indian Prairie Public Library will host a Seed Swap from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 31.

BURR RIDGE, IL — The Indian Prairie Public Library will host a Seed Swap from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 31. According to the library website, the event is for all ages and you can bring your seeds to donate or trade.
All varieties of fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers are welcome. Guests will also be able to connect with experts from the Darien Garden Club and Good Worx Inc.
The library said guests can also join in the WouldShop make to make newspaper starter pots, floral suncatchers and pinecone paintings. At 2 p.m., watch "What the Health?" an investigative documentary that addresses concerns about the nation's health and how big business influences it. Connie Johnson, geography professor and author of Humans and Animals: A Geography of Coexistence, will lead an interactive discussion following the movie.
