Learn CPR At Burr Ridge Training Class

The course is a two-part blending learning course, where the first part is online and the second part is in-person.

BURR RIDGE, IL — If you are a babysitter, caregiver or just want to be prepared in an emergency, you can attend the CPR AED training in Burr Ridge. The Pleasant Dale Park District will host an American Heart Association Training from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 19.

The training will be held at the Walker Recreation Center and it is $60 per resident and $78 per nonresident, according to the park district. The course is a two-part blending learning course, where the first part is online and the second part is in-person.

The park district said the course covers: Adult CPR and AED use, adult choking, child CPR and AED, infant CPR, child choking and infant choking. After successful completion of both online and the skills test, students will receive a two-year certification from the American Heart Association.
