Mayor Hints At New Burr Ridge Village Hall
It was built in 1985 and is said to need millions of dollars in improvements in the coming years.

BURR RIDGE, IL – Burr Ridge Gary Grasso this week hinted that he may have an idea for the Village Hall building.
He made his comments during a Village Board discussion about capital projects.
"I want to watch what we put into this building. I hope to come to the board with another idea for a Village Hall, so I want to be as conservative as possible in this next fiscal year about any improvements in this building."

Grasso gave no other details.
In a board discussion in January 2022, Grasso said Village Hall, which was built in 1985, has not aged well.

At the time, Village Administrator Evan Walter said millions of dollars must be spent on the building in the coming years. That prompted Grasso to say that the village should seriously consider a new building.
More than a decade ago, the police department moved out of Village Hall and into a new structure next door.
Last year, the village became debt-free, a rarity for a town.
