Missing Swans, Meditator: Burr Ridge Cops

BURR RIDGE, IL — Last week, Burr Ridge police responded to situations involving a meditator and missing swans. Here is information from the police blotter:

• A suspicious car was reported about 3:30 a.m. April 28 in the 15W100 block of Plainfield Road, which is in the area of Burr Ridge United Church of Christ. An officer spoke with the driver, who said he was a member of the church and meditating before starting work.
• The caretaker for the swans at Falling Waters subdivision reported to police April 28 that two of his swans that he rents out had been missing since the day before. He was not sure if the swans left on their own or were taken. He said he would like to be called if his swans were found.
