Orangetheory Fitness to Open Willowbrook Studio in May, Kicking Off Six-Week Weight Loss Challenge with $2,500 Prize Featured in The New York Times as an effective new plateau-busting workout, Orangetheory Fitness uses heart-rate-monitored interval

Orangetheory Fitness (www.orangetheoryfitness.com/studio-locations/willowbrook-il/), the energizing group interval fitness concept that is sweeping the nation, will open its newest location in early May in Willowbrook.  Grand opening festivities include fun, food and giveaways, as well as the kick-off to Orangetheory Fitness’ “Six-Week Weight Loss Challenge.” The participant with the highest percent of weight loss will walk away with $2,500.

“Whether you participate in the Challenge or join to experience the best 60-minute workout in the country, you’ll get toned, lose inches and gain energy,” said Jacquie Fowler, fitness expert and owner of Orangetheory Fitness’ Willowbrook studio.  “The success of our program speaks for itself when you see our contestants and members. The Six-Week Weight Loss Challenge has become a celebrated aspect of opening our new studio locations, and it’s the perfect way to experience amazing results, with the added bonus of a chance at a cash prize.”

Participants in the Weight Loss Challenge attend a minimum of three 60-minute  Orangetheory Fitness  sessions per week. The goal is to show the greatest improvement over six weeks, measured by percentage of weight loss. Participation is limited.

By design, the Orangetheory workout uses heart-rate-monitored interval training and short bursts of exercise to maximize the Orange Effect – which adds extra caloric burn for up to 36 hours after the workout. Participants burn an average of 900 calories per 60-minute class, hailed by the New York Times as an effective new plateau-busting workout.
