Pleasant Dale Park District Plans Turkey Shoot
A Thanksgiving turkey will be awarded to the winner of each age division.

BURR RIDGE, IL — The Pleasant Dale Park District will host a Turkey Shoot on Saturday, Nov. 17. Anyone from first grade to adult can get ready for Thanksgiving at this free-throw shooting contest. The park district said a Thanksgiving turkey will be awarded to the winner of each age division.
One player from each team in the rec basketball league will be designated to represent their team in this event. The Turkey Shoot will take place at 12 p.m. at Pleasantdale Middle School. It does cost $3 per entry.
Participants can also bring a canned food item, the park district said. All food and profits will be donated to the St. Cletus Parish food pantry.
