Pleasantdale Middle Students Featured at Young at Art Exhibit

District 107 Students Participate in Annual Show at La Grange Art League Gallery & Studio

Artwork from ten Pleasantdale Middle School students was featured at the annual La Grange Art League Young at Art celebration, which is a judged art exhibit for junior high and middle school students of the Greater La Grange area. In celebration of Illinois Arts and Humanities Month, artwork was on display Oct. 17-22 at the La Grange Art League Gallery & Studio. Among the artwork on display were some beautiful chalk drawings and paintings, creative metamorphosis and impressive ceramic sculptures.

“All the artwork looked great,” said Dianne Washburn, art teacher at Pleasantdale Middle School in Burr Ridge. “We were very proud of everything exhibited.”

Artists included: Erik Polikarpouas, Frannie Dreher (Honorable Mention), Garrett Schwartz, Daksh Guard (First Place), Lukas Stankus (Best of Show), Jake Santaniello, Max Santaniello, Veronica Eskander, Tomas Samuolis and Dylan Bart.
