Pleasantdale PTA 'Night on the Red Carpet' Gives Oscar-Worthy Performance in Fundraising
District 107 Rolls Out the Red Carpet to Raise Funds for the PTA

The Pleasantdale PTA knows how to make a glamorous red carpet event a success. On March 5, the bi-annual fundraiser, Night on the Red Carpet Adult Social, netted over $41,000 (after expenses) to fund various academic and cultural programs in Pleasantdale School District 107. As the PTA’s largest fundraiser, parents, staff and administrators enjoyed a night out at the Marriott Burr Ridge while bidding on silent auction items and participating in a “Split the Pot” raffle. The evening also included hors d’oeuvres, music, dancing and a cash bar.
The Pleasantdale PTA, headed up by President Amanda Davis, raises money to build classroom libraries, enrich music programs and continue to sponsor free school field trips and provide families with exciting activities.
Generous sponsors of the event included: Castle Chicago Motor Cars, Sima and Viren Patel, Tricon Group Inc., The MPW Group at Morgan Stanley, Crowne Plaza Chicago SW-Burr Ridge, Deck Tech, R. Vari and Associates, Hawbecker & Garver, LLC, Hinsdale Bank & Trust Company, JC Heating & Cooling, Toyota on Western, Burr Ridge Bank and Trust, Periodontal Implant Associates, Lawn Medical Center, S.C., Smiles for Life Pediatric Dentistry, Countryside Bank, Raja and Tammy Gill, D’Aprile Properties, Grand Avenue Preschool, Charter Fitness, Vince’s Flowers and Landscaping, and Remodeling Expo.
