Police Blotter: Underage Party Busted, a Stolen Tire and Other Theft

The Burr Ridge Police break up an underage drinking party and a thief with a penchant for car parts strikes the area.

On Jan. 31 at 10:55 a.m. a global positioning system device was stolen from a car parked at Five Seasons Sports Club after the car’s window was broken.

On Feb. 1 at 6:47 a.m. a cell phone was reported stolen from a locker at Mars Snackfoods.

On Feb. 5 at 11:11 p.m. the right rear wheel was stolen off of a car parked on the 300 block of Burr Ridge Parkway.

On Feb. 6 at 12:14 a.m. police broke up an underage drinking party going on at a home on the 0-100 block of Sylvan Glen Ct. Sophie Ortega, 18, of 1106 53rd St. in Chicago and Andrew Bateman, 18, of 300 60th Ct. were charged with unlawful consumption by a minor. Ting Chen Wu, 18, of 12 Sylvan Geln Ct. was charged with criminal trespass to residence.

Three female juveniles and 4 male juveniles present at the party were also charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.
