Man Fired Shots Near Burr Ridge: Sheriff
The suspect then barricaded himself from sheriff's deputies, authorities said.

BURR RIDGE, IL – A man fired shots Monday morning at the Kingery Quarter apartment complex and then barricaded himself inside when DuPage County sheriff's deputies arrived, authorities said.
The complex is in an unincorporated neighborhood near Burr Ridge. It is southeast of 91st Street and Clarendon Hills Road.
Shortly after 9 a.m., deputies were called after the man fired the shots out of his apartment near a bus stop, according to a DuPage County Sheriff's Office news release.

No one was reported injured.
The man stayed in his apartment, refusing to comply with deputies' commands to open the door, officials said.

After a couple of hours, the man released a woman and a child from his apartment and then barricaded himself again.
DuPage County's multi-agency SWAT team assembled at the complex. About 3 p.m., the team breached some exterior glass doors and arrested the man without any force or injury, the news release said.
The man's name was not released.
