Prairie Patch Planting Held At Indian Prairie Library

The planting will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 5.

BURR RIDGE, IL — If you're looking to a little gardening, head out to the Indian Prairie Library's Prairie Patch. The Prairie Patch is a community garden project made up of 40 raised beds. The planting will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 5.

According to the library, the garden is used for STEM classes and to grow fresh food for people in our community. If you are interested in getting involved, join as the garden kicks off the growing season. Coffee and cocoa will be provided at the event.
