Prince Industries Becomes Caring Partner of Ronald McDonald House Charities

Local, family owned company sponsors reading room in newest Ronald McDonald House near Central DuPage Hospital

Prince Industries, a premier designer, engineer and manufacturer of precision machined and sheet metal fabricated components, has recently become a Caring Partner for the new Ronald McDonald House in Winfield, IL. This globally recognized company has integrated experience, technology, quality and service in their partnership with Ronald McDonald House by taking necessary action to truly change the lives of children and families.

In 1959, Ed Miller, Sr. put his machining skills to work and started a family business right out of his garage. With hard work, many long hours and sacrifice, his dedication evolved into the successful foundation that Prince Industries has become today. Miller credits God for this and dedicates his work to the bible phrase, “Faith without work is dead.” Prince Industries’ goal is to put their faith into action. Through this, the Miller Family and Prince Leaders have dedicated the company to sharing its profits to positively influence people’s lives everywhere. Since their days in the family garage, Prince has grown impressively with locations in Carol Stream and Batavia, Illinois and Shanghai, China. Today, it is a global competitor and respected manufacturing business throughout the country. However, this partnership is not just business-related for Miller and his family, it is personal.

Miller’s daughter, Annie, spent many hours in the hospital when she was just two years old. During a hospital stay that lasted two weeks, Miller and his wife, Paula, did not leave her side. They rotated staying in the room with her and making cafeteria runs. While visiting Ronald McDonald House during the grand opening of the House near Central DuPage Hospital and witnessing the love and compassion that was shown towards the families of suffering children, Miller “couldn’t help but notice what a blessing it [the Ronald McDonald House] must be to families going through the difficulties of caring for their sick children.” He decided that he needed to contribute to this mission.
