BURR RIDGE, IL — A security guard for Burr Ridge's Falling Water subdivision told police he found a man who asked to be let in suspicious because of his clothing and car, according to a report. This is a neighborhood that includes $1 million homes.

The police report said the guard shack officer told an officer a younger black man with an older gray sedan showed up and asked to be let in to look at the houses on the afternoon of Sept. 7. The guard turned away the man, who left without any problems. The guard reported the incident to police a day later.

According to the report, the guard believed the man was suspicious because of the condition of his car and his clothes. An officer told the guard that no crime was committed, but the incident would be documented. Police listed the report as unfounded. The man's license plate showed no record, police said.
