Rose Wing skilled nursing neighborhood opens at King-Bruwaert House

King-Bruwaert House (KBH) in Burr Ridge has announced the recent opening of its 14-bed Rose Wing skilled nursing neighborhood. Rose Wing opens as a new and innovative care model in which the nurse and CNA work as a team delivering care together, along with providing additional life enrichment activities for the residents.

Leading the effort will be long-term Unit Manager Evelyn Salvador who has been with the KBH organization for nearly 25 years. Rose Wing, located on the second floor of the KBH Manor Home, will operate with three shifts that will be managed by Salvador. Rose Wing also features a fresh, new look with recent painting and new carpeting, as well as some minor remodeling.

“We are pleased to add these 14 skilled nursing rooms to the exceptional services we offer within our continuous care community,” said Senior Director of Marketing and External Communications Andy Beltz. “For those in need of 24-hour nursing care, we have an excellent team of professionals who provide a person-centered focus.”
