The single most pressing issue facing our village is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The pandemic's economic impact on our Village economy and its effects on Village services for our residents.

Do you support Black Lives Matter and what are your thoughts on the demonstrations held since the death of George Floyd and the shooting of Jacob Blake?

Black lives matter, the right to protest peacefully matters, and the responsible use of power matters.

Do you think the current board has done enough to support racial equality, and if not, what specifically should be done to do so?

Having lived and worked in Burr Ridge for over 14 years, I have not been made aware of past issues.

What are your thoughts on the national and local coronavirus response? Do you favor measures such as limiting operation of non-essential businesses and restricting indoor/outdoor dining? And do you favor a local mask mandate?

The good news for all of us is that we now have a vaccine to counter the virus. I am excited for the day that we will once again be able to enjoy each other's company while we shop and dine in our wonderful Village!

What are your thoughts on the state and local coronavirus vaccine distribution, and how do you think local governments should work together to handle vaccine rollout?

They could still do a better job getting the vaccine out for distribution.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

Instead of criticizing others, I would rather spend my time working on things that need to be done for our Village.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

I respectfully suggest more time spent on Village business and less on arguing.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform

The Health and Safety of our Citizens, and the economic welfare of our Village.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Receiving the Burr Ridge "Community Appreciation Award" in 2018 "In appreciation of my outstanding Community involvement and support of the Village of Burr Ridge and its Citizens to help make our Community A very Special Place".

If you win this position, what accomplishment would make your term in office as a success?

A revitalized and thriving Retail environment in our malls, facilitated by a respectful and constructive Village Board.

Why should voters trust you?

I've earned our Resident's Trust through my many years of involvement with our Veteran's Memorial, Chamber of Commerce, and our local Kiwanis Charity.

What are your views on fiscal policy, government spending and the use of taxpayer dollars in the office you are seeking?

Our Village has an AAA Bond rating, and with my experience as a Financial Advisor it gives me the skill set to offer ideas such as supporting the success of our Business Community which drives Tax Revenue for our Village needs.

Is there any reason you would not serve your full term of office, other than those of health or family?

I plan on serving the full term

The best advice ever shared with me was:

The Golden Rule, Treat others how you want to be treated.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

We have a Great Village and with your support I hope to make it Greater!
