Trustee tries to read controversial text messages from the village's assistant administrator.

BURR RIDGE, IL — The Burr Ridge Village Board's Monday meeting had its share of heated exchanges between Trustee Zach Mottl and his colleagues. See related story.
In the first video, Mottl tries to read text messages from Assistant Village Administrator Evan Walter, in which Walter criticizes Administrator Doug Pollock. In one case, Mottl said, Walter compared Pollock to female genitalia.
In response, Trustee Joe Snyder took Mottl to task for releasing closed session material to Burr Ridge Patch. Trustee Anita Mital called it a breach of confidence.

In the second video, Mottl points out texts with Snyder during a discussion over the board's fifth censure of Mottl. The trustees voted 5-1 for the censure, with Mottl in dissent.
In the third video, Mottl tries to read the texts from Walter from the podium used by the public for comments on village issues. Mayor Pro Tem Guy Franzese said the texts were one-sided.
