Teen Who Died In Burr Ridge Hit-And-Run Identified
The youth was hit by two cars as he was crossing Route 83, police said.
BURR RIDGE, IL — A teen who died in a fatal hit-and-run crash over the weekend was identified Tuesday.
The crash victim was Alex L. Hunt, 16, of Chicago, according to the DuPage County Coroner's Office.
The forensic pathology investigation is not completed yet, the office said.

About 9:30 p.m. Saturday, two drivers struck Hunt as he was walking across Route 83 at Central Avenue, according to a Burr Ridge police news release.
Hunt was taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, where he died as a result of his injuries, authorities said.

One of the cars was described as a 2014-18 Jeep, which has passenger side front end damage. The other was said to be a dark SUV, possibly a 2013-15 Toyota, which may have front and right side damage.
Police are also seeking help identifying a dark Acura SUV with Wisconsin license plates. It was seen leaving the area, police said.
