Tours scheduled at Gardens of King-Bruwaert House model home

Only a few luxury apartment homes remain at the new Gardens of King-Bruwaert House (KB) located at 6101 S. County Line Road, Burr Ridge. The Gardens will add 43 independent living apartment homes to KB’s offerings of senior living options located on its idyllic 35-acre campus. Tours are slated to begin Thursday, March 28 - by appointment only.

Guests will be able to take a guided tour of the Sycamore model, a spacious 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom residence with a den that features large, walk-in closets. This model, like all 43 Gardens’ luxury apartment homes, includes a fully appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, living and dining room spaces, 10’ ceilings, large windows that maximize natural light, in-unit washer-dryers, solid wood doors, custom millwork for moldings and casings, and large bathrooms reflecting classic elegance.

Gardens’ residents will enjoy a comfortable, accommodating lifestyle with an abundance of convenient and accessible amenities that include a French-American theme restaurant, pub, fitness center, game room, and underground parking. Residents are just steps away from a 1-1/2-mile walking path, two scenic ponds, a fenced-in dog park, walking bridges, and beautiful gardens with sitting benches.

Gardens’ homes are located within a short walking distance to additional amenities available at the King-Bruwaert Manor Home that include a medical clinic, Health and Wellness Center, therapy services, library, Bistro, chapel, theater, and a Great Lounge.

The Gardens’ construction project is expected to be fully completed by early May 2024. Incoming residents are scheduled to move into their new apartment homes starting mid-May. The majority of incoming residents are transitioning from neighboring communities that include more than a dozen from Hinsdale, and many others from Burr Ridge, Clarendon Hills, and Western Springs, according to Beltz.
