Wolf Road In Burr Ridge In Line For Upgrades
Officials are looking at improvements for drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians.

BURR RIDGE, IL – Authorities are planning improvements for the two-lane Wolf Road from Plainfield Road to 79th Street, a portion of which goes through Burr Ridge.
Indian Head Park and Cook County have begun preliminary engineering to study the needs for drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians on Wolf Road, according to a Burr Ridge memo.
On Monday, the Burr Ridge Village Board is expected to hear from an engineer hired by Indian Head Park about the project.

The part of Wolf Road from Interstate 55 to 79th Street is in Burr Ridge. It goes by Walker Park.
Residents have until May 12 to comment about the project. They can email wolf.road.study@strand.com.

According to the Burr Ridge memo, trustees may continue their discussion about Wolf Road at their May 9 meeting.
The project would also include portions of Wolf Road in Willow Springs and Countryside.
