Woman Punches Another Near Burr Ridge Bar: Cops
The case was closed without an arrest. The police explained what happened.

BURR RIDGE, IL – A drunk woman caused a disturbance and hit another person near a Burr Ridge restaurant and bar last month, but was not arrested, police said.
About 9 p.m. Dec. 8, Burr Ridge officers were called to a disturbance at Capri Ristorante, 324 Burr Ridge Parkway.
The bouncer for the nearby Gazi by Gigi, which has the same owner as Capri Ristorante, was holding down a drunk woman on the ground in the parking lot, according to a police report obtained by Patch's public records request.

"(The woman) was incapable of understanding or responding to any questions due to her intoxication level, and only would mumble and yell nonsense," the officer wrote in his report.
The bouncer said the woman kicked and broke a mirror on her Volkswagen, the report said.

About an hour earlier, a Hinsdale officer, who was called to Capri Ristorante because Burr Ridge police were handling other calls, had the woman seek an Uber for herself and her intoxicated mother, according to the report.
The Hinsdale officer gave the bouncer the key fob for the woman's Volkswagen to keep her from driving, police said.
The woman, who tried to get another person's Uber, punched another woman, the report said. The other woman declined to press a battery charge.
Another Uber was ordered for the suspect. She was told she could pick up her key fob later at the police station, but she did not seem to understand, police said.
The woman picked up her key fob a couple of days later.
The report stated, "This incident is closed due to failure to prosecute."
In an email to Patch, Burr Ridge Deputy Chief Marc Loftus said the failure to prosecute was because the battery victim did not want to pursue charges.
