Worker Issues, Rabid Raccoon: Burr Ridge Cops

Two Burr Ridge businesses deal with issues involving former employees, police say.

  • The owner of Salon Hype, 110 Burr Ridge Parkway, told police March 6 she does not want a former employee to return to the business and that the ex-employee still has keys to it. If the ex-employee were to unlawfully enter the salon, the owner said she would sign a complaint.

  • A few residents told police they were upset about a family that was walking around "non-verbally intimidating" people about 2:30 p.m. March 7 near the green on Village Center Drive. She did not want to pursue the matter. The officer said she did not see any injuries.
