Youth Dies In Burr Ridge Hit-And-Run Crash: Cops
The boy was crossing Route 83 at Central Avenue when he was struck by two cars, police said.

BURR RIDGE, IL — A 16-year-old boy died after being struck Saturday while walking across Route 83, police said Monday.
About 9:30 p.m., two drivers struck the pedestrian as he was walking east across Route 83 at Central Avenue, according to a police news release.
The boy was taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, where he died as a result of his injuries, authorities said. He was not identified.

The crash was labeled a hit-and-run.
One of the cars was described as a 2014-18 Jeep, which has passenger side front end damage. The other was said to be a dark SUV, possibly a 2013-15 Toyota, which may have front and right side damage.

Police are also seeking help identifying a dark Acura SUV with Wisconsin license plates. It was seen leaving the area, police said.
