Bristol Place Construction '99 Percent' Complete

Construction of Bristol Place, located at the corner of Bradley and Market, is 99 percent complete. Bristol Place features 90 units: 64 single-family homes, 26 town homes, and a community building. Landscaping on the property and installation of sod is currently being completed.

To date, 43 units have been leased, 6 units have been assigned, and 12 units are in the process of being leased. The developer reports that, due to COVID-19, leasing has been slow as people are experiencing furloughs and layoffs, as well as back office administration departments not available to process 3rd party verifications. There were approximately 810 combined interested households on the wait list for Bristol Place last year. The wait list has been exhausted and will re-open for new applications on June 26, 2020. Interested parties should visit the Housing Authority of Champaign County’s website on June 26, 2020 to register for the wait list.
