The legalization of adult use recreational cannabis on January 1, 2020, may create a lot of questions for the City’s residents about what is and is not allowed by State Law or Champaign City Ordinance.

Staff from the City Manager’s Office, Legal Department, and Police Department worked to create a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) and published them on the City’s website. As staff receives more inquiries from the public, the FAQs can be updated and expanded to share up to date information with the public. Check out the new webpage.
