Champaign Police Investigating Armed Robbery At Joe’s Liquor
On March 10, 2020, at approximately 9:24 p.m., Champaign Police responded to Joe's Liquor, located at 1807 W. Bradley Avenue.

On March 10, 2020, at approximately 9:24 p.m., Champaign Police responded to Joe’s Liquor, located at 1807 W. Bradley Avenue, for a reported armed robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned two subjects entered the business and one forcefully held the clerk at gunpoint demanding money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of currency, the suspects fled the business. No serious injuries have been reported to Champaign Police and there is currently no evidence a firearm was discharged during the commission of the armed robbery.

Video evidence and witness descriptions suggest one suspect is a tall white male with an athletic build; the second suspect is described as a heavyset black male. Both suspects were wearing ski masks and dark clothing.
Any resident or business in the nearby area with exterior surveillance camera systems is encouraged to contact the police department. It is believed video footage may be of investigative assistance.
