The Unit 4 Board of Education approved one administrative appointment during its October 11 meeting.

Davis Named Assistant Director of Communications/Webmaster
Roxie Davis was named the District’s Assistant Director of Communications/Webmaster after serving as a Magnet Teaching Specialist and Coach. Davis has 10 years of teaching experience, including positions in three Georgia school districts (Clayton County Public Schools, Rockdale County Public Schools, and Griffin Spalding County Schools) and four years as a teacher with the St. Landry Parish Schools in Opelousas, La.

Her background includes roles as Communications Assistant with the Southwest Louisiana Area Health Education Center, Morning News Producer with KLFY-TV (Lafayette, La.) and Board Operator with WAEC LOVE 860 AM (Atlanta). Davis hold a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication (2005) from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette and a Masters of Art in Teaching (2013) from Louisiana College.
