Champaign West Washington Street Drainage Project

As part of Phase III West Washington Street Drainage Improvements, the following streets will experience intermittent daytime, single-lane closures for manhole lining:

• University Avenue from Russell Street to McKinley Avenue
• Park Avenue from Russell Street to James Street
• Church Street from Russell Street to James Street
• Russell Street from Church Street to Hill Street
• Edwin Street from Church Street to Washington Street
• James Street from Church Street to Harriet Street
• Flora Drive from Flora Court to Elmwood Drive

A minimum of one lane of thru traffic will be open at all times. Work begins on Monday, March 30, and continues through Friday, April 17, 2020.
