The Code Compliance Division (Neighborhood Services) is suspending all inspections except for cases involving life safety concerns. Inspections will still be performed for cases involving issues that may render the dwelling unit unfit for human occupancy (i.e. lack of heat, lack of utilities, structural damage, fire damage, etc.). All complaints will be logged, and inspections will continue in the future; although, residents should be prepared for an increased wait time for the inspection.
For questions or additional information, please contact Neighborhood Services at neighborhoodservices@champaignil.gov or 217-403-7070.
