City of Champaign Extends Expiration Dates For Certain City-Issued Licenses

Today, Mayor Deborah Frank Feinen issued COVID-19 Related Emergency Order 20-08, allowing for the extension of the expiration date for the City-issued licenses listed below as specified in Section 19-13 of the Champaign Municipal Code, as well as the required payment for such renewals as specified in Sections 19-13 and 5-33 (Alcoholic beverages). Renewals and payments for these licenses will now be due June 30, 2020, instead of April 30, 2020.

The licenses extended by this Emergency Order pertain to: Junkyards, Massage Establishments, Ambulance Services, Transient Merchants, Mobile Food Trucks, Going Out of Business Sales, Pawnbroker/Secondhand Goods Dealers, Commercial Relocation Services, and Liquor establishments.
